Two weeks have passed since school began and we are glad to see the children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for a new adventure.

At the schools in Ludești, Telști and Scheiu de sus (Dâmbovița county), the remedial and non-formal educational activities are aimed at 200 children who are helped with homework and learning through play and exploration, having access to educational materials, games, computers and interactive boards. The children have gained the courage to get involved in activities along their teachers and their interest in school has grown.

Through a different approach to classes, we fill them with trust that things can get better!

The educational activities are part of the “IMPACT Ludesti” project, financed by the SEE Grants through the Local development, poverty reduction and Roma inclusion programme, implemented by the Romanian Social Development Fund- FRDS as a programme operator (www.frds.ro, www.eeagrants.org, www.eeagrants.ro).
