IMPACT Ludești – Project Results

The “IMPACT Ludești” project aimed to improve the quality of life for vulnerable groups in the Ludești commune, focusing on social inclusion, education, and poverty reduction. Through an integrated approach, the project achieved significant results within the community, providing support to both children and their families, as well as adults who benefited from educational services and professional counseling. These outcomes were made possible through targeted activities such as information dissemination, training, and counseling for beneficiaries, as well as the active involvement of local partners and field experts.

Key project results:

  • 36,500 people were informed about the project through communications, posts, and direct meetings.
  • 7,994 people interacted with posts about the project activities.
  • 19 announcements/posts about project activities and results.
  • 243 children benefited from educational services: nonformal education, learning through play and movement, remedial activities to support the national evaluation exam (Romanian language, mathematics), or to improve school progress.
  • 142 parents of children in the target group attended informational and counseling sessions on topics such as child physical health and optimal cognitive, socio-emotional development, language skills, and group integration.
  • 250 Roma people from Ludești received information and counseling services to overcome difficult situations, through sessions on social rights, professional counseling, mediation on the labor market, assistance with identity documents, and social aid applications.
  • 139 individuals were assessed for professional interests and received vocational counseling.
  • 78 individuals completed a “Cook’s Assistant” qualification in three courses (180 hours each).
  • 57 individuals completed a qualification in hairdressing, manicure, and pedicure through two courses (720 hours each).
  • 15 teachers from three collaborating schools were trained in digital competencies for using technology in learning and evaluation.
  • 10 empowerment sessions (debates, presentations, working groups) were held for 25 Roma youth to identify community problems, resources, and potential projects.
  • 15 local experts were trained in advocacy, anti-discrimination, human rights, and labor market rights.

The conclusion of the IMPACT Ludești project reflects its success both quantitatively and qualitatively. The project informed and involved a large number of local community members, such as the 36,500 people who were reached through various channels and the 250 Roma beneficiaries who received support in overcoming difficult situations. Additionally, a significant number of children, parents, and educators benefited from educational services and training, contributing to improved access to education and living conditions in the commune.

Qualitatively, the project’s impact was seen in the increased awareness of the importance of education and health, the development of professional skills, and the promotion of active community participation. The activities carried out created real opportunities for beneficiaries, whether through nonformal education, vocational counseling, or qualification courses, which opened new perspectives for employment and social integration.

In conclusion, the “IMPACT Ludești” project demonstrated that integrated measures and dedicated support for vulnerable groups can have a significant effect on quality of life and social inclusion, laying a solid foundation for the long-term development of the community.
